Everything I knew about firing someone, I learned from “The Jetsons.” Every episode, without fail, Mr. Spacely would lose his temper, fire George and kick him out the door. As Walter Cronkite delivered the news into our living room that night, I stood up, faced the television, and with all the authority I could muster, screamed, “ARCHIBALD!
