LOST IN THE NOISE

April 27 — CARDBOARD BOXES, Loudon Wainwright III (1985)

IMG_1802We’re moving offices to Automobile Alley, a few blocks away to the north side of downtown. We’re moving away from something traditional — very corporate, very beige — to a creative, industrial space.

It’s called the Cadillac Building, about a hundred years old with brick walls, concrete floors and 16-foot open ceilings. When the new street cars are complete in December 2018, the tracks will run by our office. It’s a cool area, with a bike shop, coffee house, wine bar and the Flaming Lips’ party space all nearby.

But today and tomorrow, we’re eyeball deep in cardboard boxes, packing and sorting, lifting and tossing. “We’re gonna move, we’re gonna move, we’re gonna move.”
