img_1262There are songs you’ve heard for nearly 30 years without giving it a second thought. And then one day you hear it, and it presents itself in a whole new way. It’s like the song has been waiting patiently for the perfect time for you to understand its beauty and meaning. Walking Charlie under the stars last night, this song, lovely, comforting, floating and meandering, Grandmother Elsie slowly fading. “And I will raise my hand up into the night time sky / And count the stars there shining in your eyes.”
