The list of rock songs influenced by classical music — classical guitar, especially — is short and, frankly, not too impressive. Chris Squire passed away last weekend, the bassist and long-time member of the prog-rock band Yes. While I’m not particularly a fan, I heard “Mood for a Day” this afternoon, and it instantly took me to the intro of this teen-age beauty.
