This morning the world awoke to learn that American icon Pete Seeger had died at age 94. I’m much fonder of Seeger’s songs than I am of his singing (same with his contemporary, Woody Guthrie). And even fonder yet of what he stood for: peace, love and acceptance. Here is one of my favorite versions of a Seeger song, released during the Vietnam War. With the exception of the title, the lyrics were taken almost word for word from the Biblical book of Ecclesiasteses.
